David Harris is a senior commercial barrister with a varied civil litigation practice specializing in commercial and product liability litigation.  A graduate of Oxford University and the University of British Columbia, Mr. Harris practiced for thirteen years with the Vancouver firm of Russell & DuMoulin before forming the litigation boutique Berardino & Harris LLP with Bill Berardino Q.C. in 2000.  From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Harris was an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of British Columbia Law School and was Manager of the Litigation Department at Russell & DuMoulin from 1997 to 2000. 

Mr. Harris has represented clients in a wide range of commercial matters, and currently acts for a national tobacco company in the British Columbia litigation concerning the application of legislation requiring tobacco companies to compensate the government for health care costs related to tobacco consumption.  He has appeared as counsel in the British Columbia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal and in the Supreme Court of Canada. David is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
